DECEMBER-JOULUKUU

26.12. Visiting Satu , kennel Bawabu, at Pori.

Early in the morning we headed the car to Pori and Viasvesi. It was a great weather. We made a long walk in the woods with Satu and her gals Meru and Toya.  Zorro and Utani enjoyed . As well the girls too. it was  nice for them to put boys in order. Satu made some very nice shots. Have a look at Utani's page, Zorro's page and Gallery: At Bawabu's 26.12.08. Thanks Satu for such a nice time with you;-) We'll have to make this again!

13-14.12. News from Russia and WINNER-08 show ,Helsinki INTERNATIONAL.

This year's judge in WINNER-08 show was Mr. Arne Foss from Norway. Breedentry was  47 RR's. In Champion males were 12 males. It was not our day...but nothing serious ;-) Mr. Foss looked for another type than Zorro. Zorro got VG.
 
Zorro's qritique:
'' Delightful completeness. Good proportions. Little bit light eyes. Little bit too big ears. Excellent bones. Beautiful paws. Moves with very good steps though his upright pelvis. Could have a little bit more symmetrical crowns. Funny temperament. Very well shown.''

And the news from Russia:
On 13-14 of December at 2xCACIB show in Kiev (Ukraine) Aresvuma Zulu Zuka (Zorro the second) got 2 CAC and finished his adult Ukraine Championship!
Some news from Nizhny Novgorod: on Sunday,14 of December Aresvuma Zanzibara got her first adult CAC (she was Class Winner out from 3 girls). CONGRATULATIONS!!

11.12 Trip to Karjaa Woods with Ann-Sofie.

Today we picked Ann-Sofie from her workplace and headed up to Ansu's new house at Karjaa. After long time Zorro met his favorite girlfriends , ridgies Niki, Puma and Tikru. We went to the woods and they really had fun time and run a lot. Utani met the gals for first time and he was so funny and excited of all. It was so nice to see how they all five enjoyed a lot of the freedom and each other. Unfortunately we coudln't make the photos because of the lack of light. Ann- sofie: we come again ;-)

10.12. UTANI News

After hard thingking and also strong feelings to Utani we finally decided to keep him to ourselves! So Utani is no longer searching for a new home. He stays with us! He has already find so well his place in our pack. He is Zorro's and vice versa best playmate. Also Bongo accepts him so well. In tough place we coudl'n let him go! He would have got a wonderful home at his breeder Anne Sassi-Kaitala, kennel Tarujen. Big thanks to Anne that you were ready to take him back to your pack. Anne did not want to let him go from her hands. But now the final decision is made and Utani is ours. I believe I will get better every day and my health problems disappears. So this is the best choise to all we think. And Utani's personality is so balanced and also funny. He has also been healthy all his life by so far.  We hope he will continue this kind of develeopment.

5.12. Zorro's daughter Kabisha.

I got so nice picture of Kabisha and Elly from Kennel Madzinza.  Kabisha is the daughter from Basheera and Zorro. She is of course from Andwele -litter. Andwele litter is now 20 months old.

NOVEMBER - MARRASKUU

30.11 Great show  news from Holland: Amsterdam Winner -08.

Katano ( Zorro-Basheera) and Zara ( Zorro x Bara) attended The Winner -08 show in Amsterdam with great results: Katano was 3rd Best Male and got res-CACIB which will turn CACIB: It is his first! Good work Arnoud and Katano and hugs!
Zara from Germany was 2nd Best Bitch and got Res -CAC which will turn to 2 CAC.s  ( from the Winner Amsterdam they get 2 CACs). Now she has all 4 needed CAC's towards Dutch Ch title. Unfortunately ;-) she is still too young. In Holland dog must be 27 months old when gains its Dutch Ch title. So Zara has to wait 9 months and needs then 1 CAC after she turns 27 months. . Zorro-Bara litter is now 18 months old.  Big Hugs to Birgit and Zara! Judge was Ms. Rawson from GB. Breedentry 62.

23.11. Again nice news from Russia...

Today Zorro got one more champion - his daughter Aresvuma Zaina Zelfa got CAC. She was Best Bitch and finished her Russian Championship! Zaina Zelfa in Zorro's 2nd adult champion.!
And CH Aresvuma Zan Zait got CAC, Best Dog, Best of Breed, BIG!!! Way to go Z's again ;-)
 Svetlana sent me a new picture of Zorro The Young. He is living in Ukrain. How much similarity there  is : like father like son.

22.11. JYVÄSKYLÄ INTERNATIONAL.

Zorro was Best-male 2 with Res-CACIB. Judge of the day was Mr. Harto Stockmari, FIN. Zorro's daughter  Mahiri Retta's Eternity 'Penny' was Best Bitch with EXC and BOS. She her 5th CAC and first CACIB. She is 15 months old now. So well done of this young girl. Congratulations Sunna and Penny!!

15.11. RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK SPECIALTY 2008 of the Ridgeback Club of Finland.

What a wonderful and exciting day The show started at 10 am and we spent of course the whole day there. Judge was Ms. Cheryl Currie-Thompson, Caprivi kennels , Australia. Breeedentry was 75 plus 7 puppies. This show was also the 20 years old Finnish club's jubileum show.

From us only Zorro participated. I was very happy to see also  3 offsprings of Zorro: Mbwasimba Enzio Dyo 'Enska' ( Mbwasimba Malabari Numa x Zorro) ,He got  excellent and won the Junior class of males. Mahiri Retta' Etrenity 'Penny' ( Mahiri Retta's Kiazikikuu x Zorro)  got Excllent and was 2nd in Junior class of females. Mwbasimba Malabari Djimba ' Djimba'  ( Numa x Zorro) was in her first show and did great! She won the junior class and went all the way best Bitch 3 out of 43 bitches. She got also her 1st CAC! Enska and djuma are only 11 months old.  Super Congratulations to owners!! And big hugs!

Champion class of males was very big: 19 males. Zorro's and Marko's co operation was again great.  I waited Zorro's entry beside the ring. It was not so easy to gain excellents ! Ms. Currie-Tompson used all the qualifications and blue ribbons was seen. Zorro got for my pride CH EXC- 3  and in the end he was Best male 3  ;-) . Zorro participated also to Kennel Tarujen Breeder's class and Progeny class. Kennel Tarujen won both. Congratulations breeder Anne Sassi!  I took a lot of picture but the lightning was not enough for the pics. So unfortunatelly I do not have more of them.   And here under the qritque of Zorro:

 In the evening I got very nice email from Holland, Elly: Zorro's dutch daughter Madzinza Andwele Kabisha was shown in Belgium. She was 2nd  best bitch , Res-Bitch, and got CAC, r- CACIB which will turn to  her first CACIB! Way to go Stieneke and Kabisha and Elly!

8.11 Zorro's first champion offspring!

Today I got very nice news! Zorro's boy Zan Zait 'Zidan' ( Zorro- Bara) got his last needed ( 3rd CAC) to his Russian Champion title! So now Zidan is Zorro's first Champion boy. Supercongratulations to Zidan's owners and Svetlana to Kennel Aresvuma! Enjoy his pictures down.

Today we got a MSM from Arnoud. Katano ( Zorro x Basheera) has been x-rayed and his elbows are clear (0/0) and hips A/A. :-)

2.11. TOP SHOW DOG COMPETITION OF THE FINNISH KENNELCLUB YEAR 2008.

The Finnish Kennel Club's Top show dog competition of the year consists of  all breed. National and International dog shows from november 2007 to end of october 2008. In this competition  all placed dogs in groupfinals  and BIS-placements , breedspcialties are counted. Their points are counted according to their placements  so that 100 best dogs are ranked. The competition of the year 2008 is ended and Zorro is ranked on the placement 26 with 91 points. The best 8 placements of each dog are counted together to the competition. .  So Zorro is the best show ridgeback of the Finnish Kennelclub 2008. ;-)

OCTOBER-LOKAKUU

25.10 SEINÄJOKI INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW.

What a great day Marko and Zorro had. Marko woke up at 3 am, in the morning and started a long drive to Seinäjoki show. I stayed home with Bongo and Utan. Seinäjoki show was special because it was the last show which is counted to the The Best show dog of the year 2008 competition on the Finnish Kennel Club. Judge was mr. Sakari Poti. Fin. Zorro was chosen BOB with CACIB and the continued his winning ways to Best in group 2. Group judge was mr. Hannu talvi, FIN. This result means that Zorro is the best show ridgeback of the year 2008 in the ranking of Finnish Kennel club all breed show competition. The final points I will get later. In Finnish Kennel clubs countings are 100 top show dogs of the year ranked. We are very happy with him. This is first time when he is number 1 . Years 2006 and 2007 he has been 2nd best in Finnish Kennelclubs countings.

Jinaki ( Basheera x Zorro) attended CACIB show in Utrecth . NL. She became 2nd best Bitch and got Res-CAC and Res -CACIB. So she  has rocked in every show now where she was entered lately. Big congratulations!

Madzinza Andwele Jinaki Hidaya 'Jinaki' was entered on the Clubshow in Czech under judge Linda Costa. Her result was 4- EXcellet.in intermediate class with 17 females.  Well done Joyce and Jinaki.

Aresvuma Zahara Zinara ' Zara' became today Dutch YOUTH CHAMPION!! In one week 2 titles! Again BIG Congratulatuons Birgit!!! And way to go Birgit and Zara. We are now so pleased to Zorro's offsprings.

13.9 PORVOO NATIONAL DOGSHOW.

We visited Leni Finne's (FIN), the judge, ring today with good result.: Zorro BOB. In the afternoon in groupfinals Zorro beated the whole group and became GROUP 1.

The puppies from Z-litter are doing very well. To the present day we have 4 Young Champions:( Zorro - Aresvuma Bara Etana). Aresvuma Zan Zait (home name Zidan) is JRUS CH, Aresvuma Zaina Zelfa also JRUS CH, Aresvuma Zulu Zuka (home name Zorro) JUKR CH(Ukrain), Aresvuma Zahara Zinara - JLUX CH. Way to Zs!

I got a wonderful news from Birgit, kennel MKONDO-WA-SIMBA http://mkondo-wa-simba.de/code/frame.html First Zara striked in Luxembourg and then  I got news from her  health results which came toady.came. Zara is HD;(A/A) ED (0/0); OCD free!!

6.9 Zorro's mentality test (MT).

 Ms. Barbro Börjesson and Lena from Sweden were here in Finland at Valkeakoski testing 24 ridgebacks personality, temperament, behaviour and nervstructure among other things. Zorro passed the mental test witth flying colours (he got 207 points counted with this finnish official test)- Zorro has developed very well from his young dogs test (MH= mental ypung dog test)). So he has passed both tests with flying colours. Pictures and test protocol are coming later. It was so nice to meet Lena and Barbro after 2 years. I have to thank also Marjatta, Heidi's mum, that she took care of Utan while were were on the test track. Also again BIG THANKS to Heidi for arranging this wonderful opprtunity to learn about ridgeback's personality!

Aresvuma Zahara Zinara 'Zara' ruled in Luxembourg show when we were in Zorro's personality test.  Zara became Luxembourg YOUTH CHAMPION!! Judge was Ms. Whitmarsh from Sweden. Way to go Zara and Birgit! BIG HUG!

6-7.9 Zorro's son Zorro rules and Zan Zait.

There were 2 shows (CAC and CACIB) in Simferopol (Ukraine). At the CAC show ARESVUMA ZULU ZUKA (CH Tarujen Penzi+CH Aresvuma Bara Etana) got CW, JCAC, BESTj, BOB, BIG and became Young Ukrain Champion!!! Next day at the International show ZORRO succeeded again: CW, CAC, CACIB, BOB, BIG-IV. 6 of September 2008  at the International show in Sankt-Peterburg JCH  ARESVUMA ZAN ZAIT (CH Tarujen Penzi+CH Aresvuma Bara Etana) got his first adult CAC and R.CACIB . what news I got from Russia:-) Z.litter of aresvuma do a great showcareer!

25.8. News from Mbwasimba Enzio Dayo ( Enska).

Today i got nice  email from Tiina who is the owner of Enska. Enska is Zorro's boy from the combination Mbwasimba Malabari Numa and Zorro. In this pic' Enska' is 11 motnhs old.

In Hämeenlinna International show partcipated Zorro's daughter Penny ( Zorro-Madame). Penny got her 3rd CAC! Judge was Mr. Hans Almgren from Sweden! Big congratulations!

Judge Mr. Harry Tast (FIN) gave Zorro very good.

17.8 Penny rules again!

At Heinola National show judge Mr. Massimiliano Manucci  chose Penny Best Bithc with Ecxellent and so she was BOS! She got also her 2nd CAC: Way to go Penny and Sunna!

16.8 KOUVOLA NATIONAL.

Again showday. Zorro gort 3rd place in males with EXCellent.

And while Zorro and Marko were in Kouvola show we got a great, great news from Ireland. Katano striked and was BOS with green star (CAC)!!! The show was at Killerney. Judge was Mr.E. Patterson from Ireland. He is a breedspecialist and also has a kennel Rocksham ridgebacks. Green star which means CAC is a system in Ireland. Now Katano has his 1st. In Irelend a dog needs 7 green stars to get CH-title. But now BIG HUGS and CONGRATULAITIONS to Katano, Arnoud and Lisanne!

 15.8 Katano in RRWC-08 show in Ireland.

Nice nwes. Arnoud and Lisanne are with Katano ( Basheera - Zorro) in the Rhodesian Ridgeback World Congress 2008. Today Katano participated Gongress show and was placed 2nd in junior class with excellent. Congratulations!

9.8  HELSINKI NATIONAL.

Judge was today Rody Doededins, Holland. Zorro was not placed but he got ECXellent.

On the same day there was also a national show at Saarijärvi. In this show was Zorro's daughter Mahiri Retta's Eternity 'Penny'. She did so nice work with her owner Sunna. They got first excellent and then later in Best Bitch compeition Penny wonwith her 1 st CAC and was BOB at the age of 14 moths.  Judge was Matti Luoso, Fin. In groupcompetition Penny got stunning result being Group 2nd. Big Congratulations Sunna and Penny!!

We stayed one night with campsite. Thank you Taina for your wonderful dinner! In the show judge Roby Wallis from Australia chose Zorro Best male 2nd with RES-CACIB.

JULI - HEINÄKUU

27.7 PORI INTERNATIONAL SHOW.

And today was Pori Int. I stayed with Bongo and Utan at Marika's yard taking sun.  Marko went to the show with Marika and Linus.  Judge was today Ms. Elsbieth Chawalibog, Poland.  Zorro beated other maels and in the end became BOB with CACIB. So it was then the groupfinals. I and Marika were watching, too. Uta stayde at Marika's with Linus. In the group Zorro did good work with Marko and they were placed Group 2. Groupjudge was Mr. Matti Palojärvi from Finland.

 26.7 TURKU NATIONAL SHOW.

Zorro Best male 3 with EXCellent.  Judge was  Mr. Hans Boelaars, Netherland. Tomorrow is a show at Pori. So we, Make, Bongo, Zorro and Utani  came to visit Marika and Linus with our caravan to Pori.  In the evening we had a great barbecue. Thank you a lot Marika for 'loaning' your yard. We had such a nice evening with lots of people. Utan was all the time with and he was later on very tired:) but happy. .

19.7 Utan 10 weeks.

Utan was today visiting his 2 grandmums: Kennel Tarujen breeder Anne Sassi and Dana's (Tarujen Osei) mum  'Numa (Tarujen Jamila who is the mother of Zorro, too.)  Utan enjoyed  playing with Numa. We also tried a stack picture of Utan. See your self...

18.7 Zorro in best dog show competition.

The show dog year 2008 competition of The Finnish Kennel Club has ranked the points and ranking of the 100 dogs out of all dogs who has got oints form theri placements in Group, Bis and specailaties. on the 14 th of this month. Now Zorro is on the place 33 with 50 points. Hopefully his shows continues victoriously so that he stays on the list. But you never know how the rest of the year goes;-)

15.7 Zorro has accepted Utani :)

A picture is more than 100 words. Utani is now 9 weeks old. It took only 3 days and then Zorro accepted Utani. Bongo still says Mrrr.... to Utani. But Bongo does not care of him so much. Zorro protects Utani a little bit.

13.7 OULU NATIONAL SHOW.

Judge Arvi Elmen, Sweden. Zorro gor Excellent and was placed Best male 3rd. Critque was good.

12.7 OULU INTERNATIONAL SHOW.

Judge was Rouli Kantzou, Greece. Zorro BOB with CACIB. No grouplacement. BOS of the day was Zorro's Best playmate ´Puma`' Bawabu Zambga Zahara. She also got her last needed CAC and became Finnish Champion! Congrats Ann-sofie and Puma!

2.7 NEW JUNIORCHAMPION IN Holland!

Today I got an email that Madzinza Andwele Katano 'Katano' had got his official Diploma for his DUTCH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP!! Way to go Katano and of course Lisanne and Arnoud!! We are sending big kisses to Katano!! And you Lisanne and Arnoud BIG hugs for great work!!  Katano is Zorro's 1st Junior Champion.

JUNE-KESÄKUU

30.6 SURPRISE!

Today we got a new familymember Tarujen Utani 'Utani'. He is now 7 weeks old and weights 6,5 kg. Bongo does not like him so much and also Zorro is little bit reserved. But males are males. Let's see how long it takes that they get used to each other. After hard thinking we decided to take a new puppy now. Boys are in good ages 3,5 years and 10,5 years.  Utani's proud parents are : Dam- Tarujen Osei 'Dana' and sire : aussie boy ''Kimba'  Lionsbane hes The Boss.

29.6.  MÄNTSÄLÄ/JÄRVENPÄÄ NATIONAL SHOW.

Zorro striked again! Today was a national all breed show in Mäntsälä/Järvenpää. Breed judge was Ms. Leni Finne (FIN). Zorro was BOB. And then again to the finals. Groupjudge was MS. Paula Rekiranta. She chose Zorro Best of Group 6, BIG: We are very happy!

25.6 ZARA  in BENNEKOM (NL) SHOW.

In Germay living Aresvuma Zahara Zinara ( http://mkondo-wa-simba.de/code/frame.html)  'Zara' ( Bara- Zorro) got today her 2nd JCAC towards hollandish JuniorCH. She was also BOS!! And got her 1st CAC towards hollandish Championat! Big gratulations Birgit and Zara!

We travelled from Gällivare straigth to Rovaniemi dogshow. Judge was Mr. Blaz Kavcic from Slovenia. Again Marko's and Zorro's co-operation went so well. After hard thinking Mr. Kavcic decided to put Zorro 1st male ,BOB. with CACIB: And again started raining. The group ring was so wet. Also thundering. Not so nice to a ridgeback. Anyway Zorro became Best in Group 4. Judge was Mr. Kurt Nilsson from Sweden. It was so well done from Zorro in so horrible weather. By this result Zorro is now on the place 39 in the best show dog competition of Finnish Kennelclub.

21.6.  GÄLLIVARE INTERNATIONAL SHOW; Sweden.

We travalled with our caravan to Gällivare. 1000 km from Helsinki. On the road we stopped in Oulu and visited Niina Lukkariniemi. It was so nice to meet you and Iiris. We spent 1 night in Oulu and the drove sttraigth to Gällivare. In the show were 15 dogs ( 2 absent). The ring started and it was not yet raining. Judge was ms. Michaela Francopol, Romanaia. Zorro had again good show day and became BOB with CACIB, Swedish CAC and became  Swedish Champion. by the way this CAC was Zorro's 22nd. And then started raining. We had to wait for groupfinals. it was raining a lot. In the groupfinals Zorro went on to Best in Group 2.  

21.6  ARESVUMA ZAN ZAIT & ZANZIBARA rules again. 

On the same  time when Zorro became Swedish Champion his kids ruke in Russia. On 21 of June 2008 at the shows in Cheboksary the dogs from ARESVUMA-Z litter (Ch Tarujen Penzi+CH Aresvuma Bara Etana) got wonderful results: ARESVUMA ZAN ZAIT -2 CW,2 JCAC,2 BESTj, 2 BOB, BIG, BIS!!! ARESVUMA ZANZIBARA - CW, JCAC . After that shows Zan Zait 'ZIDAN' became Zorro's 3rd Young Russian Champion!!! Congratulations!!! Svetlana from Aresvuma and Zanzibara's and Zidan's owners!

15.6.  FORSSA INtERNATIONAL  SHOW.

So the shows change...Today Zorro really ruled!! Thank you Marko for great handling. Zorro was first BOB with CACIB and judge was Giuseppe Alessandra, Italy. Then they contued to group finals were Zorro did great and became Group 1! Judge was Ms. Kirsti Lummelampi, FIN. And to Best in show competition:  I was not there because of my knee operation but my friend Ann-Sofie phoned me and told all on-line. It was so exciting. And then came the results: Zorro becamee BEST in SHOW 4 and judge was Giuseppe Alessandra. What a great day : )

14.6. KOTKA INTERNATIONAL SHOW.

Judge of the day was Steven H Seymour from Australia. Zorro got excellent qritique but was not placed. The judge liked Zorro a lot but the box disturbed him.

7.6. Kabisha and Penny did great.

Fisrt: Elly's and Stienekes, KABISHA from kennel Madzinza (one of Zorro's hollandish girls from Basheera) was today in Open show. She did wonderful job and was BOS. Congratulations Siteneke and Elly!

7.6. TUURI NATIONAL SHOW.

Second: From litter Zorro-Madame Mahiri's Retta's Eternity 'Penny' (Zorro-Madame)  participated the Tuuri show with succes. She was BOS and got her first CAC!! Congratulations Sunna and Penny! Penny is first who get the CAC in Zorro's finnish kids.

18.5. JOENSUU INTERNATIONAL SHOW.

Again rainy day but is does not disturb our showfeeling! Today entered Mahiri'Retta's Elements 'Rambo' ( Zorro-Madame) the show also! Judge was Mr. Zeev Trainin, Israel. it was very nice to meet Rambo! He has grown very nicely to a hadnsome boy.Results of the day were Zorro BOB, CACIB; BIG 2. Groupjudge was Ms. Annika-Ultveit-Moe from Sweden Rambo got Excellent with Res-CACIB..

17.5 JOENSUU NATIONAL SHOW.

Mahiri Retta's Elements entered the show representing Zorro's finnish kids. He showed himself very nicely  with Pasi. He was placed Best male 3 with EXCEllent and his first CAC!! Rambo is first of Zorro's kids to get a CAC in Finland! Congratulations Pasi and Rambo! Judge of the day was Ms. Annukka Paloheimo, FIN. Rambo was under 10 motnhs when he got this CAC.

25.5 Again Z-litter in Russia....and in Holland...

Aresvuma Zahara Zinara  'Zara' got Exc.1, JCAC, CAC, BOS in Netherlands.
The puppies from z-litter ( Zorro-Bara) living in Nizhny Novgoro are doing very well. Zola has now 3 JCAC and she needs 1 JCAC to be Young Russian Champion. Zan Zait (home name Zidan) has 2 JCAC.  Zulu Zuka (home name Zorro) who is living in Odessa (Ukrain) was shown for the first time on 9-10 of May and got 2 JCAC, Best junior and BISj-IV!!! Now he needs 1 JCAC to be Young Ukrain Champion.
On  18-th of May there was RR-specialty "Club Winner" in Nizhny Novgorod. I saw 3 puppies from Z-litter: Zan Zait (Zidan) and Zaina Zelfa were shown and Zanzibara came to meet with me. Zidan got Exc.2 out from 4 young males and Zaina got Exc.3 out from 6 females. Svetlana from Aresvuma..

11.5. 'PINKSTER' INTERNATIONAL SHOW  SHOW IN ARNHEM, Holland.

Our last day in Holland and the most exciting or  I must say puppymeeting was more exciting.  We entered the Rijnhal-hall early in the morning. It was a hot day.  42 Rr's was entering, 21 males +21 females. So Karin van Klaverien  started the judging. In the same show was also 2 of Basheera- Zorro kids: Madzinza Andwele Katano 'Katano' and and Eurojugendsiegerin-08 Madzinnza Andwele Jinaki Hidaya 'Jinaki'. From Germany came Aresvuma Zahara Zinara 'Zara '( Zorro-Bara). Katano was in Junior class of 9 dogs ( 2 absent). Both Jinaki and Zara entered also into Juniorclass , entry 12 rr's. So they made this show even more important to us...  

And then started judging. First we were so nervous of Katano and Arnoud. And excited, too. Arnoud and Katano showded themsselves beutifully to the win of  juniorclass. By this win Katano gained his 2nd JCAC towards Dutch JCH: : SUPERCONGRATULAYIONS Arnoud, Lisanne and of course Katano!! Then came finally Zorro's turn. He was alone in CH-class. And Zorro behaved extremely well and gained by Marko's handling the class win. He beated also malesin  Best male. cpmpetiton.  Then starten females. Jinaki's and Zara's turn came finally. Jinaki got nice result Exc and Zara won the class winning JCAC. Then came best Bitch ring. Zara was there. So many bitches to beat. At the end she was Best Bitch 2nd! Congrats Birgit!!

And then came BOB abd BOS -ring. Today was Zorro's day. He became BOB and got  CACIB and his 1st Dutch CAC.He needs 3 more to became ´Dutch Champio sooo.... The rning was over for a while for us  until the finals started. In the big ring group 6 was judged by Mr. Petru Munteau, Romania. So many dogs in group 6! More than usually in Finland when Group 6 is big. So they came in to the ring on honour as Holland people say. Everything was so nicely done. After all seremonies and careful watching of the dogs Mr. Petru Munteau put Zorro Best in Group 3rd!! What a day!! It was very nice feeling to begin the homethrip. Zorro's kids did so well s and of course we are glad of Zorro.

10.5 Meeting Ilse and Kani.

Today in turn was a date with Ilse and Kani (Malozi Jamboni). We walked with the dogs in the woods and they get along very well. After walking we sat in the cafeteria for drinks. Ilse: it was so nice to meet you and Kani! I was with when Ilse chose pyppu of Malozi's J-littter. So I am a godmum to Kani....

9.5 Madzinza's Andewele litter's puppymeeting at Van Der Maurik Holland.

'Katano' (Arnould is missing), Stieneke and 'Kabisha', Marko & 'Zorro', Jorna and 'Bhanu' and Joyce & 'Jinaki'. Unfortunately 'Mischa' was not able to come.

3.5 HILLERÖD INTERNATIONAL SHOW. DK.

We were hunting for CAC of course... But the day was not ours. Judge was Wilfid Peper, Germany. Zorro got in Open class Ecxellent and was placed 4th in his class. .

TODAY while Zorro was in Denmark,  In Germany, Dortmund, Europasieger 2008 CACIB show  his and Basheera's beautiful daughter  Andewele Jinaki Hidaya did wonderful  entry in showring . She won her class (youth)were were 21 females. So by this win she became EUROPA JUGEND SIEGERIN '08 !! Judge was  Mr. Klopsch ( Germany). Supercongratulations to Jinaki!! A big hug from us : ) . Zorro is so proud as we are ,too!! The result was 1 EXCELLENT

29.3 From last weekend: Zola

Last saturday Aresvuma Zoan Zola , Zorro's and Bara's daughter earned in the show her first Junior CAC!! She was also a classwinner.  Here under pictuere of her. You can see her nice pigmentation and beautiful expression. And of course congratlutions, we wait more of JCACs ; - ) !

14.3 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MADZINZA'S ANDWELE littter and Elly from Madzinza's!! Zorro's first litter turned today 1 year!!

Good luck to the owners and dogs: Gabisha, Jinaki, Mischa, Katano and Bhanu. All have been healthy and done well ; )

2.3 Puppyshow at Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki.

Six ridgebackpuppies age 7-9 months entered the show. 3 from Riziki Kennel and 3 from Mahiri Retta's ( Zorro xMadame). Two gals of Zorro was placed 2. and 3rd. One boy, Aslan was 2 in males.  All did well. Gongrats  to all handlers and to the winner of the day Ronin ( saimi x Bart) and owner Jonna! I was very proud of Zorroäs children. They have very good temperaments and behaved well. Here under Jenny Kaplas's co-owned femalen Penni. Penni Lives with Sunna Kiviasalo! She is so much like Zorro... I mean Penni!

FEBRUARY- HELMIKUU

 16.2 News from abroad. Zorro's kids rules...

 In the show in Rheingrad ( Germany) were two Zorro's kids.

- Aresvuma Zahara Zinara ( Zorro x CH Aresvuma Bara Etana) : puppy class winner with very promising  Madzinza Andewele Katano was in Youth class and got nice result: Ecxellent and 2nd place in his class. Congrats to owners!

9.2. Champion of the Champions , CoC .

This was second time when we got invitation to the CoC gal. Last year we got the invitation, too,  but we were not able to partcipate. So this was our first time in Coc. Coc is held to celebrate 100 most succesful showdogs of the 2007. They are chosen from  Finnish Kennel Clubs 100 best show dogs of statistic. There was nice time and Zorros showed himself nicely on the stage. Also our breeder Anne Sassi was there. This year there were 2 breedings of her. Tarujen Mabaru and Penzi. We want to congrat Anne Sassi for this achivement! ; ) and thank her for our  wonderful dog!!! Also congrats go to halbrothe Maru and his owners Miia and Tommi Jokilahti.

3.2 Visiting Kennel Mbwasimba and Maria Björkas

Numa's and Zorros pups are now 3,5 months old. Maria kept herself cutiegirl Djimba. Now Djimba lives with her mum Numa and 3 other girls'  pack happily. She is very, very lively. Mbwasimba Mwenzio Dayo has got a new home!! Dayo is little bit calmer in his personality as Djimba. They looked so fine :)

27.1. Turku INT. Dog show. Judge Mr. Christian Juanchicot,

First show this year. Breedentry was about 40 ridgebacks.. Zorro got Ch-Exc-4.

4.1. Zorro was in personality assesment.

Zorro was tested by Mr. Peetsa Vilander.,one of the most  well-known dogexperts In Finland. Mr. Vilander is specialized to dog's behaviour and has also written books of the subject.. This test is unofficial (FKC).Parts of assesment  are same as in temperamenttest for dogs.  Zorro got EXCELLENT results, which we of course are very happy of. His nervstructure is excellent and stable. Zorro permformed very well and his ability to function is excellent,too.
