Our
introduction - or 'How It All Began...!'
(dogs'
names are links to photos and pedigrees)
I've owned
these charming little dogs already soon 28 years. We got
our first cavalier in 1980 from Simpele - a blenheim bitch
puppy LOCK
ET LUCY (CH Poplicorn Georgio Boy/ Starlet Isabella).
The next year we made a summer holiday trip to England came
home with a little 'souvenir'; AMANTRA
HARBOUR GRACE (CH Amantra Anchors Away/Glancagayn Bohemian
Dream at Amatra) , a blenheim bitch as well. We could say
that little "Sessan" chose us! With her our last
'obstacles' were removed and we purchased a tricolour male
KINDRUM
CALYPSO (Kindrum Barnacle Bill/ CH Kindrum Carousel),
also from England.
Dog shows
were already a great part of our lives and we travelled
all over Finland and also in other Scandinavian countries.
After four
years of waiting in 1985 we finally got our blenheim bitch
puppy SALADOR
CORN DOLLY - "Dolly" (Salador Charlock/ Ronnoc
Harvest Bell) also from England. She became the foundation
for my breeding work. In August 1985 a blenheim male puppy
SALADOR
CRAMBO (CH Salador Connors/ CH Salador Celtic Maid)
joined us. "Boby" was a real English gentleman.
And still in 1986 arrived a blenheim male puppy SALADOR
CREPELLO (CH Salador Crismark/CH Salador Crystabelle).
"Woody" was without a doubt one of the most important dog
in my breeding programme - perhaps even the most
important one!
Our breeding
is based on these dogs. I don't want to leave without mention
the blenheim "girls" who arrived later. They came
to strengthen the lines which I had chosen. First came CINOLA
MARIA (CH Alberto of Kindrum/ Cinola Uptown Girl) from
England and then a blenheim beauty, ROYAL
COMPANION DREAM BABY (CH Kindrum Orlando/CH Royal Companion
Penny Lane) from Holland.
During the
year 2000 we got our more recent imports from England, blenheim
male puppies PAMEDNA
BOCELLI (CH Pamedna Lord Byron/Pamedna La Contessa)
and PAMEDNA
RICCARDO (CH Geronsart Bertolino at Amauri/ Pamedna
Juanita); Charming youngsters with real cavalier temperaments!
I really thougt
at that time, that these lovely Pamedna boys would have
been my last imports, but still I am the happy owner of
two new imports. Charming blenheim bitch puppy arrived from
the Netherlands in 2004 CHIVALROUS'S
CHIMENE FOR HARMONIC (Sanicro Comotion/Royal Companion
The American Dream) and November 2006 ALBERTO
DOBRY ROC (CH Miletree Gerry McQuire/CH Maja Dobry
Roc). This puppyboy is blenheim and arrived from Poland.
I wish to
offer my most sincere thank you to all these dogs' breeders
together and separately, because your work has made it possible
for me to be today the happy owner and breeder of HARMONIC
cavaliers. Thanks for your trust, that you let your dogs
join to our family here in Finland!
All my dogs
have been actively shown and have gained many
remarkable achievements from puppies to veterans! But
above everything, they have all been loveable and loyal
members of our family.
I have shared
so many joyful memories with them, both in the daily life
and at dog shows. As a forever-new and always such a wonderful
happening I have experienced the birth and growing of our
every litter. All the puppies become acquainted with the
normal 'hubbub' and noises of the home. Before they move
to their new homes they are also checked by a vet and each
of them get a personal health certificate.
All our cavaliers
are checked regularly - including the 'oldies'. All our
dogs are also ID-marked. Hence their health information
is available also from the Finnish Kennel Club as well.
We breed
only with eye-, patella- and heart checked dogs that have
been confirmed to be healthy.
In the photo
gallery you can find pictures of the dear little "fellows"
under years, also of those who have already left us and
gone to the "Rainbow Bridge".
I
hope that you will enjoy spending this little while with
us!
