Nako

Nako is a simple memory game. Coded in one afternoon on a sick-leave sipping hot tea and learning libSDL. Thanks to Osman for the image loading and App Installer fixes. I used my 2004 travelling pictures for it to avoid copyright issues, and besides images just look so nice on the screen of 770.

It is Application installer friendly, just launch Control pannel->Application installer, find the file and install. There will appear a submenu "Extras" in the launch menu, under it will be "Nako". Enjoy. Current best result on the big board is 35 moves, and we have people who get around 37 every time they try ;-) (around 50 myslef). Osman got 50 by semi-randomly hitting the screen very very fast, go figure :-(

Future
Of course, future. State saving (when exited, should save state?), sounds and multiplayer, plus a cheater mode for me so I can beat Osman (finally, revenge). Perhaps also customizable tiles or tile sets.

07.04.2006: Nako 0.2.0 released.
04.04.2006: now one can just drop his 2100x70 BMP image (21 frames at 100x70) to his Images (/home/user/MyDocs/.images) on the device, give it ".tileset" suffix and Nako will read this as alternative tileset. Check the screenshot - tap the arrows will switch between tilesets.

Load applet

Features:
Again, this is Application Installer friendly but you will need to reboot the device after installing, as the Status Bar applets load on the startup of the desktop.
