Richard Cubbich, gent, Roger Heyward, smith, Thomas Heiward, mealman, John Potter, mealman, Thomas Beach, wheelwright, Richard Lockett, tailor, and Tyllius Meade, mealman, of Watford, indicted for riotous assembly, assault and poaching. On 1 March 1583 they assembled
at Bushey assaulted and wounded Henry Cocke, servant of Henry Hickman of Bushey, yeoman, and took trout (2s.) without licence from a fishpond, parcel of the manor of Bushey Hall. The indictment was certified into Queen's Bench Easter Term 1583.
