Below is a list of books on Bristol history in which I will do look-ups. Please make your request as specific as possible - no blanket requests for "everything you have on Smith".
Please note that these books are mainly for medieval Bristol. They cover the period from about 1150 to 1775 at the very latest, with the emphasis primarily on the period from 1400 to 1600. I don't live in Bristol and I don't have access to census or parish records. If you have questions about people who lived in Bristol after 1775, please use the links at the bottom.
If you have any books on Bristol history or genealogy and would like to volunteer, send me the names of the books or other resource material in which you would be willing to do look-ups.
In order to decrease my intake of Spam, I no longer have a clickable email address on this site. If you want to get in touch, copy the address below and replace the word (at) with the appropriate symbol. Sorry for the inconvenience.
