Work

I work for Philips Healthcare as a Software Manager, leading a group of 10–15 software engineers, test engineers and team leaders. We develop software for MRI scanners in Vantaa, Finland.

Previously, I worked for a language technology company called Lingsoft. I am still available for part-time language technology consulting.

Education

I graduated in 1998 from the University of Helsinki, where I studied Computer Science, Mathematics and Computational Linguistics. The topic of my master’s thesis was semi-automatic classification of Finnish newspaper articles.
