Story
This is one of the oldest songs that I've
wrote. I began with just a few distinct riffs which I compiled onto the
complete song. And just like Beyond the Violence this song was
initially without any kind of a vocal line and I had to 'force' the vocals
in there. Anyway, I like these kind of songs myself. I feel it's heavy,
fast, kinda happy (!?), and it just goes on and on and on..
The lyrics themselves tell the story about
the greedy man and his nature consequently takes the man to the death.
He searches ancient treasures in a pyramid and his greed takes him deeper
and deeper into the caves and the lust of getting rich and the feeling
about finding more and more, gradually obscures his mind and he becomes
a fool.So it has a great lesson for life after all...
