You´re about to make the aquantaince of my HHP Nippe. First a picture of him.
Nippe came to live with me as an adult of
seven and a half years. He arrived on Independence Day, December
6th, 1993. He had to change homes because there were allergy among
his previous owners. A sad day for Nippe, but he had no choice.
Luckily he found a new home soon. He made
himself at home immediately after checking out all my cupboards.
Don´t know what he was looking for - other cats maybe? Anyway,
after that he settled in nicely and got used to spending summers
outside at my parents´ cottage.
He
learned to catch mice and got very good at it. He moved to a new
house with his owners with a garden, which he loved.
In
April, 1999 he got himself a buddy, another cat. The newcomer
was a Somali kitten, Totti, a pedigree cat! Nippe at once decided
to show him who is in charge and wasn´t too friendly at
first. Not that he managed to keep it up and within three weeks
the two of them already slept together.
They got along just fine and the little cat learned how things
were done in this house. Of course Totti was much wilder than
Nippe and every now and again Nippe had to tell him that he wasn´t
up to everything. In the autumn Nippe grew tired of the young
cat who always wanted to play wild and silly games and before
Christmas he decided to move elsewhere.
He got himself a couple of servants full
time and is now enjoying the life of an elderly gentleman (he
lives with my parents with whom he already spent all summers).
They do anything for him.
Nippe
took for the first time in his life part in a virtual catshow
and WON the veteran class. Here is a picture with the rosette
he got. He also was Best in Show second. Congratulations Nippe!
Here are more pictures of Nippe.
